A white rhino, one of South Africa's iconic species. Now in trouble of course because of that magnificent horn. Rhinos date back millennia and this one has a red billed oxpecker on its horn. These two have a symbiotic relationship where the rhino tolerates the bird because it gets rid of the pesky ticks that land in all sorts of crevices on the rhino and the bird gets a free meal.
