The story...
One of the enchanting events of driving around the African bush is the constant scurrying to and fro of the warthogs that are everywhere. Warthogs are a lion’s favourite food. A smorgasbord of delicious pork cuts. As such they are super alert and when they see anything moving, their tails go up straight in the air, just like a radio aerial and they do not need a second invitation to set off running. Those aerials stick out in long grass enabling youngsters to see their parents tails and follow safely. It is a much observed scene, a row of moving tails that indicate a fleeing family of warthogs.
